STATEMENT FROM CHENGETA WILDLIFE
Rory Young, Co-Founder & Ceo, Chengeta Wildlife
Rory was leading a wildlife protection patrol in Arly National Park, Burkina Faso on 26th April 2021 when they were attacked by terrorists which resulted in his death and that of two Spanish journalists who were capturing his efforts to protect precious wildlife.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased right now. We respectfully request your patience, time and understanding as we deal with the loss of our inspirational leader.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming love, sympathy, support and kind words we have received from Chengeta’s partners, friends, supporters and other conservation organisations since the untimely passing of our co-founder and CEO Rory Young.
While the news is still raw and we are trying to come to terms with the loss of Rory, we are humbled by how many of you who have kindly reached out and asked how you can support Rory’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
